Who’s PML ?
What sort of speed and range does this Ford get ?
It’s supposed to have 600hp and 2000 lb/ft of torque. I want to see some ‘performance’ videos not just the truck cruising around at low speed. I want to see its tired catch fire hauling a trailer up a mountain…because unless we see it we won’t believe it.
Why is it going so slow, didn’t they say it had 150hp in each wheel. It looks like the car stutters as much as Peter in the other video at the Sema show.
EV IS THE FUTURE ! and who is PMP???
PML is an electronics company in England. They have extensive experience of electric motors, and they produce electronics for the aircraft industry. However, they do need to prove their performance claims for this system.
Their main product is a suitcase wheel motor of all things rated at 2Nm, hence the name PML flightlink. Flightlink as in dragging a power assisted suitcase around an airport. LOL
It’s true!
I’ve called PML Flightlink and they said they are waiting for the big car makers, they dont sell their motors to normal ppl… (they said something about in a few years maybe we can sell them to you…)
PML Flightlink Limited – in Administration
EM Shires and RW Birchall were appointed as Joint Administrators of PML Flightlink Limited on 28th November 2008 to manage its affairs,
Are there redundancies built into this truck to make sure the motors are in sync so that loss of control of steering cannot happen?
Electric Motor Works Limited has acquired the business and assets of PML Flightlink Limited pursuant to a sale conducted by PML Flightlinks administrators.
