Most conversions use angle iron. It’s easier to find, cheaper, simpler to work with, and stronger. My Lincoln AC220 Mig welder won’t do galvanized steel.
Keep the Neon reports coming. I have a ‘95 gas burner with 211,000 miles on the clock. When the ICE dies, I might declare it an EV project.
